For Lack of a Better Title...

Tonight is a beautiful night.

I was filled with this incredible feeling on the way home from dinner tonight.
It's hard to describe but I've felt it before. Everything seemed so beautiful and lovely and just great.
I instantly wanted to write, sing, dance like a crazy, paint, and whatever else sounded appealing. I wanted to go outside and sit on the warm pavement, and just sit.

So something funny and random about today... I must have looked good or something, cuz an 8 year old asked me on a date, I caught my friend staring at me, I made eye contact with a cashier at In-n-out while in line and he ended up taking my order and was overly friendly and very sweet(but it was nice haha), and some thirty something year old guy checked me out as my family was leaving dinner. Lame that I'm acknowledging all this but it's always nice knowing that people notice you.

Welcome to the Sixties

I just watched this fascinating documentary about the protests and riots that occurred on and near the Berkeley campus in the sixties. You can watch the full movie on Netflix and probably somewhere else too. It's amazing that all of this went on, just crazy.



Once again, I wish I lived in the sixties and was a hippie spreading the message of love and peace.

For No Reason At All

This morning around 7:20, the dogs(Roxy and Max) started nudging my arm with their noses, letting me know that it was time to stop sleeping and acting selfish and to instead feed their poor empty stomachs. I got up and fed them and went back to the couch to watch a movie on Netflix. I ended up reading my Bible for a little bit and then turned on the TV. I watched an episode of Phineas and Ferb and ate some Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Then I turned on Diary of a High School Bride. (I think that's what it was called...) A movie from the 50s about a girl who gets married while still in high school. It was entertaining but had a lame ending. Then I think I got up and took a shower and put my pjs back on. I watched another movie called All the Days Before Tomorrow. An indie flick that was kind of all over the place, but I'm planning on watching it again so I can understand it a bit better. I cooked some LeanCuisine in the microwave for lunch and it was delishh! A little bit later I watched Comedy of Terrors. An old "horror" movie from the 60s although it was quite funny, hence the title... I also grabbed the mint cookie crunch ice cream and ate right from the carton. Yumm :) After that I think I watched some more Phineas, and then switched between Tia & Tamera and Law and Order: SVU. Now I'm sititng on the couch listening to Joss Stone radio on Pandora (because I saw a commercial for her new cd and liked what I heard) and looking through a very thick ikea magazine.
Go me and my not really exciting(but totally wonderful) time of house/dog sitting.

Rest of the day: more movies, maybe a nap, dishes, and time with a friend!
